About this deal

And so on second spraying - 1 cautious spray - in the evening, and the perfume is no longer screechy. I cam smell the white florals. I woke this morning, and the white florals had settled, and I could smell a lovely almost soft vanilla, and a lovely white musk. I have doused myself in it following a shower, and 1 hour later it is starting to soften. Somehow, this is a FRESH oud fragrance that can be worn year round. Oud is often very underappreciated for it's versatility in the west. In fact, this leans towards a summer/spring time oud fragrance. Maybe it's the patchouli I'm sensing but I haven't quite put my finger on why this comes off as so fresh and airy rather than warm and dense. Oh well, I'm not complaining. This is definitely a woody, fresh aquatic, with a hint of fruits. I feel like,if you like aftershave smells/shaving cream, you'd really enjoy this one. This would be amazinggg in summer/spring. The smell that whaffs in the air is just wonderful. In my opinion, this would definitely suit a man better than a woman. My Advice: If you are not familiar with oud scents, do buy them only after trying them; I recommend Lattafa's "Blue Oud" to ALL oriental fragrance lovers due to its singularity of being semi-fresh. If you really like oriental woody fragrances, you don't even need to try it before buying it. I do believe this fragrance will conquer you with its uniqueness.

Compliments: 8.0 (This fragrance it's not a compliment magnet, but it is alluring and an above-average pleaser, especially because it contains an oud note that has not been disguised by citrus, flowers, fruits and spices) Ultimately, this is an amazing rose oud scent (on the jammy, woody side) for the money, and I highly recommend it for lovers of niche scents. Projection Time: 10 (10+ hours), 9 (8-10 hours), 8 (6-8 hours), 7 (5-6 hours), 6 (4-5 hours), 5 (2-4 hours) LATTAFA defines lifestyle and offer unforgettable creations through elegant Arabian Oud perfumes for all…Made in U.A.E. Opens up with this gorgeous dark juicy wine-like scent that settles into an ensemble of oud (that's not overly rubbery or skanky), sweet juicy resins and ambers, with a bit of a sugary feel. It's very wearable and very unisex, but I (32M) wear it a lot, and even got my similar aged male friends onto bottles of their own as they also agreed how lovely it is. Also as it's so beautifully cheap I often just wear it in the evenings at home and to bed as it's so lovely. But to be frankly honest I only apply 2 spritz max, I was trying to build my tolerance to Oud only bec it’s very basic where i live and maybe building my way up? Uniqueness: 9.0 (Quite unique and enjoyable for an oriental woody fragrance due to its somewhat easy-to-perceive "blueness")

I have been avoiding Arabian Oud scents, since I am from the middle east and it smells like every mosque ever. But one day, I wanted to get something that had Oud in it and thought Lattafa will be a good way to start since they’re affordable, right? I got this a week ago, and let me tell you I can’t stop wearing it ever since! I don’t if it’s bec it’s winter, or am I really starting to like middle eastern scents and it’s my new thing maybe, but this is really amazing and worth the try! Despite there being some differences in the notes, Swiss Arabian's Shaghaf Oud smells really similar to me.It definitely does give off a a bit of a fabric softener type of vibe, (not the overly feminine ones) especially in the dry down. Great stuff. This is pretty much the classic Middle Eastern oud fragrance of the type that is very popular these days-- a balance of floral, oud, smoke, and spice. It's still oud but not barnyard or overly animalic, oud that announces "I am oud" but not at the top of it's lungs, a very well balanced note. It is sweet, semi-floral (saffron definitely) and a bit spicy from the cinnamon. One of the best inexpensive oud compositions I have come across. Editing to add: My nose just supplied me an interesting bit of information-- I am pretty sure there's hedione in this. No wonder it's so intoxicating! Anyone else agree? I'll start off by saying im perplexed at others labeling this as aquatic and comparing it to Invictus / Lattafa Najdia (which i own) because i don't find the same qualities here AT ALL. Goes to show how different our perceptions are yet again. Something in this, gives it a sort of coziness in the base. The oud in the this is fresh. This oud is not funky, not medicinal or fecal. To me, the saffron, woody notes and ambergris is the most prominent in this fragrance.

It starts to soften and you’re left with Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition ! To my nose. I have been wearing SAS for many years, so I’m well aware of the scent. However, where SAS Is more vanilla, this is more saffron and patchouli. Versatility: 8.0 (An "all-around" versatile unisex fresh woody fragrance; That's a strange comment for an oud perfume, but Blue Oud is one of the most wearable oud fragrances I have ever tried)Projection Power: 10 (Fills a street), 9 (fills a room), 8 (can smell from 5 meters), 7 (3 meters), 6 (within arms reach bubble), 5 (20cm from skin)

I would say if you like spicy, woody scents then give this a shot, for the price of this you really can’t go wrong, I can see why so many people enjoy it. It’s well blended, smells expensive and definitely gives off a sexual aura but it’s not the sexy perfume for me. Again, I want to smell that rose!😩 The woody notes are really wearable and agreeable. There is some fresh subtleness associated with the fragrance's woody strength that makes you really enjoy this perfume. It is very well-behaved, without any hint of a "barnyard scent". This to me is the absolute best oud-centric fragrance you can buy, and it's astounding how cheap it is. I honestly think this smells nicer and more expensive than Ombre Nomade. Not that this is a clone of it or anything, but that is often seen as the king of oud-forward scents so I usually compare them to that. The notes are perfect in my opinion, musk in all the notes, the top being amber, the middle having rose and sugar, giving a perfect balance of sweet and clean. The rose I will say you won’t smell it at all, it just blends together with the musk, the vanilla and the woody notes so perfectly well. Then you're on a long drydown journey of about 14h, longer on clothes where it continues to move around and remain interesting.
