Everything is going to according to plan, and her sisters/fellow event planners have got everything completely under control. It’s the groom himself who throws the wedding into chaos, when on the night before the wedding he accidentally sends his bride-to-be a love letter that definitely wasn’t intended for her.

I don’t give synopsis as you can easily read that in the blurb, but I will also tell you that the narrators are excellent! Teddy Hamilton has a way of making it seem like he’s just telling a story to a friend. (Not like he’s reading at all). It feels very realistic and keeps you engaged. He is able to add texture, dimension, and different voices as well. He is one of my all time favorites! And Rose Dioro did a wonderful job as well. She was perfect for the heroine and brought the personality to life. She made the characters feeling believable and come to life. I love it when a good story has talented narrators as well. It’s so depressing when a favorite author puts out a book and the narration doesn’t live up to the story. I often wonder why choices were made. But whoever did the choosing for this book (and the series) was paying attention! They did their homework and hired two of the greats making this another exciting audio to take me outta my own head and worries for a while. I had a hard time understanding the writing. It seemed to have lots of unnecessary parts and filler scenes especially leading up to the wedding and during the "honeymoon" trip. One of my favorite things about Cynthia Eden's book is that she not only gives you dual POVs, but she also give you a peak inside the villain's head. It really spikes up the suspense of the story. Mine to Hold didn’t deliver any unexpected twists. I knew the path the story would take, however it still kept me entertained. The story shows one has to be careful who they allow in their circle. Not everyone in your circle is happy for you. There is always that one who is jealous of you and will try any means to tear you down.

I loved the way this book started out. The way Shelby confronted her cheating fiancé was epic. She showed what a strong female character she was and it was inspiring. I loved the relationship she had with her sisters. They’d created the best wedding event business in the area and they took such pride in it. I loved getting another dose of Harlow and Travis. Like quiet and shit," I say, my words coming out like word vomit instead of me taking the time to think of the words I want to say and how I want to say them. I wait for her to say something, anything, and she doesn't.

Of course shortly after the book starts bodies start dropping like flies. And they all point to Noah and/or Claire being the possible killers. Noah has decided he will protect Claire at all costs. When I open my eyes and look down at my chest, I see his hand is cupping my breast. Almost like a death grip. My eyes open wide as I look around, not moving a single muscle in my body. His hand is on my breast, my head screams. I repeat, his hand is on my breast. I ignore the little butterflies in my stomach. When I started this journey four months ago I never expected to end up here. But yet, here I am. Completely in love with Noah York and completely loving Cynthia Eden's ability to craft such suspenseful romances. I figured after the two prior books in this series that I would have been able to figure it out, that I would pinpoint the way she shaped the scenes and gave the clues... but nope. I was kept on the edge of my seat until the end and my mind was going crazy trying to figure it all out. Like if I was able solve the puzzle, find all the clues - I could stop it all from happening. I also liked that Claire wasn't a meek little mouse. She's been through so much in her life, and she is still vulnerable from her past but she still had this strength at the core of her. I thought she was the perfect match for Noah and his past. I loved watching their relationship develop. Noah is your ultimate alpha male, hard, gritty and blunt. I loved him! Claire although broken was not weak and she didn't annoy me like the usual heroine playing damsel in distress(the books I read have a lot of those)

Let me start off by saying romantic suspense is not a go-to genre for me. But every time I finish I Cynthia Eden book, I question my decision making and tastes. WHY am I not reading more of this!?! I absolutely love Cynthia Eden’s books. Her writing style is fast paced, sexy, engaging and above all completely consuming. I have a hard time putting her books down. And this book was no exception. Noah York is used to always being in control. His character already managed to intrigue me in the previous parts of the series, so I was very curious to find out more about him and the many mysteries he seemed to keep. He's the perfect type of alpha male, he's a rich, powerful hotel owner with a past full of fighting and killing. Even though, he's left that world behind, he's still the same calculated fighter with a lethal instinct. Especially when the things or persons closest to him are being threatened. If there's one person who'd to be able to protect Claire, it's supposed to be Noah...

She was staring into his eyes when he came, and Claire actually saw his gaze go blind with pleasure.
