About this deal

MrsSaylexx 'My daughter bought this for her birthday with her birthday money and she absolutely loves it. It's the second doll that she's now got and she adores them. She's also got the inflatable chair set and hair styling set and they're all fab quality and brilliant value for money.' To start off you need to get your child to call Emma by name, and then repeat some words to her until she announces ‘yay! I learn fast!’ (the kid’s not modest!) and moves on to stage two. Stage two is proper words, and you need to encourage her speech until she declares ‘I talk like a grown up!’ which means she’s on to stage three and becomes a toddler, basically! She’ll tell you she has a cold, needs a cuddle, is hungry… you know, all those demands your own toddler has! If your child asks her questions she’ll answer, along with a head shake and moving lips, which is pretty cool if you’re a kid! It only took half an hour for her to get from complete baby talk to ‘grown up’ speak, but if you took her batteries out and replaced them it would reset her and you can start again. She’s got a very americanized voice, which is a bit irritating but only seemed to annoy me, I don’t think the kids even realised! While Emma doesn’t make any of the dolls house furniture herself, there’s an entire industry of people who create the components needed to complete a miniature home – much like a real-sized house. Once you have a theme or an idea in mind, it’s important that you take your time over it. “Don’t rush, and do a room at a time. It’s meant to be fun - it’s a collection after all.

Rachel 'I would not have chosen to buy this if it had not been on Santa’s list. My granddaughter had been given one a short time ago & wanted another. The hair on the first one is now really tatty so I’m assuming the 2nd will look the same in a few weeks time. They do not 'sit’ well. But it’s what she wanted!' Nikkitta3 'Appealing looks and hardwearing manufacture. A good buy. One attraction is availability of outfits for sale separately.'

Jenna 'My little girls love these dolls they are such good quality even though they get played with a lot they last. The outfit is cute and her hair is long and perfect for a child to style' Working alone from her Sudbury workshop, Emma does consultations remotely, and can work with clients to help them achieve their dream dolls house. Patsy 'Lovely doll, loads of outfits and accessories for it,. A lot of different ones to choose from , great for all ages.' I think that epitomises what dolls houses do - they enable people to dream, wherever they are, no matter what’s going on around them.”

Both my kids seem to be quite loving and caring, and always love to have a doll or a cuddly toy to look after, though so far we’ve managed to steer clear from dolls who cry or pee (or worse). However, we’ve just had a new addition, Baby Wow Emma. Not only does she talk, she moves her head and lips too. The kids absolutely love her, but Sam and I are more than a little bit creeped out by her! When I opened the box she was in demo mode so started talking before we could even see her, which was a bit disconcerting and I really hope the postman didn’t think we were smuggling actual babies in the post! At least she arrived with batteries hey!? Nannysue62 'Bought this doll for twin 5 year old Great Neices for their birthdays, they absolutely loved it as soon as they saw it and played for hours' Angela 'Bought this doll for my Grandaughter for Xmas. She has all the other dolls in this collection. Great for older girls who still like playing with dolls. Hair is lovely and they have lovely clothes.' it’s too late for emma now; but there are many things we can do to take better care of our health at work,’ comments fellowes. ‘we spend hours at work sat at our desks, but by introducing movement with a sit-stand solution, we can combat the health issues caused by sitting for prolonged periods.ensuring our workstations are properly set up with the right ergonomic accessories will also ensure that our posture is correct at work; thus, helping to reduce the risk of work-related musculoskeletal injuries and other illnesses.’ With each person, I find they have a dream in their head - you just have to get it out. It’s a question of getting to know them a little.”EmJo 'Good choice of dolls and cheaper than some more well known brands. Lots of accesories to help imaginative play. Good value for money.' With a number of impressive projects under her belt, ranging from creating dolls house window displays for Jo Malone, to appearing on The Alan Titchmarsh Show, Emma is certainly not short of fans from around the world, with her impressive works of art reaching all corners of the globe.

Seedsy 'I am very pleased with this item. I bought 2 dolls for my nieces and they are delighted with them.. I also want to comment that as a delivery service Argos is easy to navigate and delivery updates are excellent.. I will definitely continue to shop online with Argos...' Delius35 'An absolutely lovely 18" doll, with gorgeous long hair, well made clothes, shoes. Also included is a charm bracelet for the new owner. It is presented in a beautiful gift box, what more can you ask for?' I personally like food shops, but you could also make a tea shop, a bridal shop, or a department store.” The possibilities truly are endless,” she added. “The only thing stopping you is your imagination.”I know the most talented crafts people you could wish to meet,” she said. “From upholsterers and plaster casters, to brass metal workers and miniature food geniuses. I even know a lady who can knit with pins to make miniature baby clothes, how clever is that?” previously on designboom, we covered similarly quirky human body art projects such as the ‘perfect’ human body without evolutionary flaws and ‘graham’, the only person designed to survive a car crash. Dilyara 'My Daughter love the doll, she change her clothes and do different hair styles. She said it’s the “best doll she have ever got”.' Once the consultation and design stages have taken place, Emma then gets to the physical restoration process. Mumofthree 'Great value for money. My 9 year old loves this doll so much she is saving up for her second. Would recommend.'
