The results are pleasing with a balanced exposure on the landscape although the colours seem a little pale at f/22 with a shutter speed of 1/30 second. Canon have been a little sneaky with the lens mount as the lens has a different mount to the usual EF lenses. As an electronics company, Sony should know little about photography and it seems they have waited until they can use the expertise of Minolta before releasing a DSLR. But when its predecessor -- in this case, the EOS 350D -- was renowned for producing excellent, low-noise photos at a more-than-adequate 8-megapixel resolution, it's risky to replace it with a higher-resolution but potentially lower-sensitivity chip as Canon did with the EOS 400D. so I have an issue and I can't find anything on the canon page to help me, but my lcd screen doesn't work so I can have a live view of what I take a picture of.
